It’s quite a difficult process because you have to do it carefully, Once traffic comes to your website then it’s quite difficult for you to change the domain name in future.

When you start getting traffic or backlinks to your website, it’s directly connected to your domain name, that’s why it’s very important for you the choose a right domain name and don’t be change it for a long time.

First, build a blog that is connected to your personal brand name, this can be a blog where you have the freedom to blog about any topic that you want to write about it.

your domain name can be your full name or a twist on your name with your professional like digitalprashant.com or it can be your full name like Neilpatel.com.

you can also use generic names for your website like bikerboy.com, and techblogger.com. if you have the plan to expand your website with more writer in future, then generic kind of domain names helps you.

here ISP is Internet Service Provider, nothing but you get Internet services from companies like Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone and others.

Internet Service Provider have their own DNS, they have a list of all the websites and all the IP addresses related to those websites.

Another DNS servers are Google DNS, which we called as open DNS.

In a simple way, DNS finds the IP address of the websites.

For this, DNS can be configured on your computer as well as configured on the router.

similarly, you can be configured the IP of a specific Domain name locally (which Means editing hosts files).

then you can go to intodns.com, here you enter your domain name, and after that, you will get details related to your website.

When you scroll down you will get an option called www, there you will find the IP address of the websites.

What is web hosting

Any computers, that are connected to the internet we call those computers as hosts.

It’s impractical to set up your own server because you need a 24*7 internet connection and it will not handle traffic spikes.

so instead of handling your own server, you must rent a server.

If your website is fresh then do not consume too many resources, your website is hosted along with hundreds of other websites on a single server.

Once your website gets enough traffic, then you can get a dedicated server for your website with a dedicated IP address.
